Tikka Speeds w/Factory Loads

Another bump for 270 or 30-06 or 243
I just found some old notes in my 30-06 file:

T3 Superlite 30-06 (22.4" barrel)

Hornady Precision Hunter 178gr ELD-X

27* F. 3100' ASL

AVG 2664 fps. ES 35 fps. 10 shots.

Magnetospeed Sporter

I realized I have another to share

T3x .223 with 16.5" barrel
Hornady whitetail interock 60gr 2800fps avg.

Tikka CTR 20" 308
Federal Fusion 180
2518 fps avg

T3x 21"
6.5 CM
Nosler BT 140
2515 fps avg

Would like to hear some 30-06 ttsx speeds. Hopefully 165 or 168g

Bump

Shot the 77tmk from American Reloading at 2605-2610 from a 16.5" barrel

I like this thread a lot. I've got Tikka T3Xs in 6.5 CM and 30-06, both cut to 18.5" and threaded. My factory load speeds with suppressor (SiCo Omega 300) are below:

6.5 CM
-147 ELD-M (Supp.): avg=2445 fps
-143 ELD-X (Supp.): avg=2382 fps

30-06
-178 ELD-X (Supp): avg=2604 fps

NOTES: The 30-06/178 ELD-X was the only one I was able to chrono before chopping to 18.5". At 22.4" I was at ~2700 fps unsuppressed. Additionally, I was debating selling that 30-06 due to the beating I got every time I pulled the trigger. Now, with the suppressor, it's an absolute sweetheart to shoot. The 6.5 CM (not unruly to begin with) is laughably tame.

Hope this helps some guys who may be considering chopping their barrels and adding a suppressor.

Tikka 300wsm 19"
Federal premium 180g accubond 2858fps
Norma 180g bondstrike 2800fps

Per the box norma claims over 3k and federal claims 2950ish

To add to your numbers, I shoot 6.5cm and 3006. The 6.5 is a 18.5in fieldcraft. With 143gr eld-x it runs 2525fps. Adding to the tikka's are slow idea.
I chopped my tikka 30-06 from factory to 20" and threaded for the exact reason you did. Went from 2680 to to 2635 in the factory eld-x.

I would be curious as to how many of these are recorded within the first 100rds out of the barrel, and after 100-200rds as the metal smooths out. I know sometimes increases can be as little as 50fps or as much as 100fps.
