Between the two rifles which would you choose and why? Tikka rough tech with a grayboe Phoenix stock or Seekins ph2. Both are similar in price with the added stock on Tikka. This will mainly be used to hunting from tree stand and range time. Not overly concerned about weight. If there are other rifles below 2k price that you prefer let me know.

I have a Seekins 6.5 prc and love it, and it’s a tack driver. My Buddy has the Tikka Veil in 7mm and is very happy with it. I really enjoy the palm swell on my Havak. Seekins has a great warranty that comes with the rifle, oh and if you reload you are able to stretch your round further out with Seekins carbon fiber mag.(i don’t remember the specs). Honestly either way you can’t go wrong.
Sorry I wasn’t probably much help.

I like Tikka actions but everything else sucks, and their barrels are notoriously slow.
Seekins on the other hand incorporates upgraded components, and they're built with Rock Creek barrels which are notoriously fast and in my experience exceptionally accurate

i have some bias here... i think the Seekins are the best looking factory rifle on the market, and have a good reputation... would be an easy choice for me.

Tikka are great rifles too, i have owned a few, they do what they are supposed to, and do it well, but the Seekins will be a more refined rifle all around

I have a Seekins PH2 and love it, one hole gun at 100 yards, 1” at 350. The gun isn’t heavy either. The only draw back I’ve found is the palm on the stock isn’t comfortable to some people with small hands
