Tikka M595 - 223 to 308 bolt face

Anyone know if a .223 (.384”) bolt face can be opened up to a .308 (.470”) in the m595 action and function normally? Contemplating moving to another cartridge (take off 6.5cm barrel from a t3x I have). Cant seem to find a surplus bolt and don’t feel like buying a standard face rifle for $700+ just for a bolt

I'm certain it could be done. Much less certain the cost would be worth it.

I also have a 595 in .223 and have thought of having it rebarreled also.

Keep googling. I'm sure there's bolts out there. I've seen em. Check the classifiedss
