I didn't want to dirty up the other group buy thread from Unknown Munitions for the 20" Tikka LH .223s.

With that said, what scope are you planning on running with the 20" barrel? Decisions Decisions.

I was one of the lucky ones who picked up a fixed 6 gen 2 swfa.

This will be my first Tikka, first LH gun, first SWFA, first .223, first can (OG).

Fingers crossed that this kool-aid tastes good!!

Got a 10x swfa and a 3-15 NXS. It's mainly going to be a trainer setup so not to worried about weight. Just something that tracks reliably.

I'll most likely use something in the 4-16 range. The main reason I am buying this rifle is for killing wolves or coyotes.

i like the 4-16 range aswell. Looking for something either us made or japan in Mils. Not a lot of options under 1,000

Maven RS1.2, UM Tikka rings, and a Sandman X are ready for when it shows up. Railed rokstock is also ordered.

Mine is up but not running yet. Swapped stock, trigger springer, added UM rail and scope. Got scouting going on now but maybe next week will get it out.

I struggled with what to put on it. I wanted something light enough so as to not upset the balance of a 20" sporter barrel but enough Xs to be able to see what I wanted to. I wanted some decent glass (looked at Zeiss, Leica, Meopta and Swaro) but couldn't find the reticle I wanted. I then did a 180 and bought an Athlon Ares BTR Gen II 2-12x42 Mil. We'll see how this works.

Fixed 6x gen 2 SWFA is going on ours. We have one lefty in the fam, and he's stoked. Might show up in the ".223 works" thread this season.

What is that on the end of your gun? It looks like a muzzle brake, but I can't imagine you've got a muzzle brake on a 223. Is that some kind of suppressor?
