Tikka help

I tried to search but came up blank. I’m looking at getting a Tikka in .308. Went back and forth on a CTR vs a lighter option and think I’ve decided lighter for this go round. And it looks like my local sportsman’s has a superlite in stock.

I want a threaded 20” barrel and it looks like there are some options for the threading, but how far down from the muzzle do the flutes start on the superlite? Is around 20” doable on the superlite?

On my SL the flutes start at 1 5/8" from the end. If you are wanting a 20" barrel then you'll need to cut 2.4" off and be into the fluting by quite a bit.
