Tikka foundation stocks and Hawkins bottom metal.

The hybrid line is their lighter (not light) options - ezekiel and gideon. The hybrid line is a carbon and kevlar blend, with a micarta bedding block. The ezekiel has an adjustable comb and a recessed forend for a full-length arca. The gideon does not have an adjustable comb, or a recessed foreend.

Both stocks weighed about 40oz with everything except the barreled action, so not lightweight in the traditional sense.

Their non-hybrid line of stocks are fully micarta and very heavy.

I have the ezekiel for a rem700, and the gideon for a tikka. I really enjoy them both. The micarta deadens recoil as-advertised. both have slightly above bore combs. Trigger reach is longer than the rokstock, but comfortable for me with above-average sized hands.

Downside - price.

Can you comment on the tikka inlet on the Gideon? Barrel channel? Specifically if it will fit a 1.2” shank on the factory cut?
