trust me i have thought long about it. I just own two lefties already and dont really feel like switching. I would just think at some time someone besides ruger would put one out....hell i might buy the ruger. I already have one in 308 and shoots great.

Think Barrett has semi publically stated there are no longer plans for a Lefty Fieldcraft in the foreseeable future.

Wish they would make a threaded barrel left hand 6.5. Almost ordered the xbolt long range from shot, but don't want a barrel that long.

I really would like a Barrett Fieldcraft chambered in .280 AI. I'm not sure how long I can wait for that one and may end up with a KMA.

Sounds like Barrett has nixed the idea of a lefty. Apparently they cant keep up with demand of righties. Went over to 24hour site and heard it there as well as this forum.

Finding a Lefty, Rifle in MOST, "good Calibers",.. is a "HUNT", in itself ! You "may" want to look at, a Tikka in .270 WSM, T3 or, T3X, especially, if you Handload as you can shoot from, 90 to 160 grain bullets. The .270 WSM shoots like, a "LAZER" at 3,300 FPS for the 130's or, down to 2,700 for, plinking ! The .270 Bullet does have a lower, BC but, on Game to,.. 700- 800 yards,..it, Kills and is very "FLAT shooting",.. to 500 ! Something, to "think" about, IF you, don't want, to WAIT !! I LOVE, mine !
