I’d love to hear an explanation of how the 300 is more effective.

Not looking to start a fight, just looking for substantive facts.

My field experience contradicts your statement.

A fellow posted on here awhile back(May have been Broz) that is a part of like 50-75 elk taken yearly that 30 cals were more effective.

I guess I should’ve put “may be” before the statement.

I have the Tikka in 270wsm. It has harvested deer, elk, sheep, coyotes, antelope, pigs and squirrels. It does kick a bit being light weight. A Limbsaver pad helps. Im considering a muzzle break.
