Tikka build

Currently looking over options for a Tikka rifle I’m putting together for backpack hunts. My main priorities are:
-reliability
-worth the cost

I’m planning on putting a full frame outdoors kit on the stock.

I have sorted out the rifle (6.5 creed), scope, and rings. This is what I have looked at so far. Thoughts and input are much appreciated. Just want to do it right the first time.


Rifle-

-Scope

I’m thinking I like the 20” barrel that’s already threaded for the rough techs, but wouldn’t mind trying 16-18” as well in the future if that changes anything. Thinking I’d like the rifle between 7.5-9lbs all dressed.

Open to hearing anything and everything.

You should be good on your weight. I basically have the same setup and I’m right at 9lbs with a 20” 243 and a dd enticer on it. I’m using a swfa 3-15 in um rings.
I have an 18” 6.5 creed, same rings, scope, can and a stocky’s vg and it’s just over 8lbs.

UM rings, Maven, and I am partial to the ember. Can always cut into the flutes later.
