Tikka bolt face opened for 6.5 PRC

What does it cost to have bolt face opened up? I have a .243 that I want to convert to 6.5 PRC. What components do I need to change/ modify to make this happen?

Call Shaen Rifles but it was about $100-$125 IIRC. You will need a longer magazine and appropriate bolt stop. Easiest is just convert to long action stuff

The new Tikka oem prc mags a 4rd capacity and take max of 3.07" cartridge length. That's about perfect as a 156 on lands in saami throat is around 3.06. That bullet liked to be 30-45k off in 3 my rifles.

Not exactly sure what “thickness” you are referring to but there is no safety issues…The bolt is dimensionally the same.
