Tikka Barrel Life

I have a few Tikkas, .308 Win, 6.5 Creed and 7mm Rem Mag...what is the expected barrel life? The .308 and 6.5cm are the basic stainless the 7mm Rem Mag is the fluttled that comes on the Wideland model.

It’s all cartridge dependent. You should easily get 6-8k for the 308, potentially more with mild loads. 6.5 creed I’ve seen anywhere from 1800-4k rounds of barrel life depending on who you talk to. No clue on the 7mm-08, I would guess it’s similar to the 6.5 creed

Use an estimate based off published load data for the bullet you're shooting ( https://hodgdonreloading.com/rldc/ ) which will get you in the ballpark. Factory loads are likely gonna be a or near max pressure unless they're reduced recoil loads. The specific powder doesn't create too much of a variable from the little I've played with it (not enough to go from 3000rds to 2000rds at least ).
