Like I said, math is a dirty 4 letter word in my vocabulary lol plus Ive been up for 40 hours......Im just a little c*&k eyedand 6.5 = 0.264"
25 and 6.5 are very close, but the new 130 class 25 cals hit a little better BC/velocity balance than most 6.5 offerings if using the same case. @Southernfried
I guess I’m just saying I don’t feel that either option you listed is going to do anything that what you have dosnt. Actually likely the opposite. So you are saying I don't "need" a new rifle... all valid points. I think biggest thing for hunting more timbered country is a more compact rifle but I certainly could tote the 6 Creed, even with the 6" can its not too unwieldy.
Well, that sucks. Between the 6CM and the 25CM, you won't see any significant differences from a ballistic standpoint, but for something new, I would choose the 25CM.I'd consider it but live in WY and we have a 6mm min for elk.
This is what I was thinking as well. If I remember correctly, shooting the factory ELDM, my 6CM has better ballistics than my 25CM. The 25 is new so it may speed up a bit but they may just end up about equal. A 6.5 jumping up to the 150 class bullets may give you the most significant difference from the 6mm you already have.Well, that sucks. Between the 6CM and the 25CM, you won't see any significant differences from a ballistic standpoint, but for something new, I would choose the 25CM.
