G’day
Over here in Australia there is a thread about the 9.3 ( Tikka T3 ) on a local forum .
It goes back to about 2013 and the guy who started it has documented his kills over the years .
He has shot literally thousands of animals with it getting rid of feral animals on his large cattle property in the far north of Australia.
I highly recommend a look .
If you can find anyone else in this world who has killed more animals with a 9.3 please let me know .

I knew Sako had harder barrels, I didn't know Tikka had hard barrels also. Looks like a barrel nut type of re-barrel if I go the Tikka route. I may just re-barrel a 1968 vintage Savage 110C in 30-06 i have. Or I might just have the Savage barrel re-bored because it has iron sights, if it's thick enough.

Those old savage rifles are solid! Plus if you already have barrel mounted irons that’s a huge bonus. That’s my one issue with building a Tikka, I’ll have to source good irons and find a gunsmith that will mount them.
