Tikka 7mm rem mag

Bro i have had 3 of them, they go great just ensure you get an over barrel suppressor really helps with balance.

But im dumb and keep changing what ill hunt with 3 of my mates i sold them too are still using my old set ups
one day ill learn haha

Not quite cutting down a factory barrel, but have a 22" Proof Prefit with a Scythe that hasn't managed to blow off yet (knocking on wood). Tikka2.jpg

I have a tikka 7 Rem Mag and I had it threaded to add a muzzle break (I cant use suppressors in CA) But even If I could I wouldn't cut down the barrel. First I wouldn't want to give up the loss in FPS and I don't like the look of the shorter barrels. If I were to go with a suppressor I would leave the barrel stock and go with an over the barrel suppressor (used a similar setup to that in New Zealand and loved it)

ive got a scythe bought I'm waiting to come in so unfortunately for me over the barrel suppressor is out and I wanna keep the length down as short as I can for backpack hunting and any loss in weight is just fine as well with me. im not to scarred of the FPS loss as it would still carry a pretty decent amount of spreed

I rebarrelled my tikka 7mag to a 23” carbon and hang a 9” can off the end of it. Hunted all last season with it and loved it. Sure, overall length is longer than I’d prefer but it really wasn’t an issue at all.
