It’s one of those where if you have the choice, the 6 creed all day - but the 243 is 100% the next best thing. From what I’ve seen, pretty well all the 1:8 243s will shoot the 108s lights out over 4350 with little to no effort. I have heard folks talking about short throats but I didn’t have that issue. I seat out to damn near mag length with no issues.

I’m about 500 rounds down my 243. When I burn it out I’ll move to the creed.

You using H3450 or IMR4350?

Bringing this one back up to see if any update. Went out to the Sako website and didn't appear to be any on the Tikka line that I saw. Any vicious rumors floating around about factory 6CM Tikkas coming out this year. Would love to put a S2H scope on one for hunting for this fall. Got a 243 that will do the job, but I really like the idea of the 6CM. No, I'm not going to do an aftermarket barrel yet.

I asked a Beretta rep at the SCI show about the fact they were up on the website but later taken down. He said he was a Tikka rifle guy, then proceeded to tell me that the 6CM is not CIP approved yet so they had to take it down……Google says it is approved.

I’m not saying he doesn’t know wtf he’s talking about but it looks like it was approved back in 2022.
Secondly, that seems like that would have been something someone would’ve checked before they created product numbers and spec’s.
