Im super pumped for this and was waiting for this moment, but I have been working on putting together a super light 243 with fluted bolt i got a steal on. Had it cut to 18 inch already. Last peice is the Rokstock that's currently in production. Im not going to abandon that but had I not been this far id grab one. All that aside I reload and doubt ill be sorry that I kept pushing forward with the 1:8 243 win.

I also wanted a tikka 6 creed, however considering I could have a 1:8 243 by next week at a good price vs waiting until May for an unknown price, I’ll still go 243. But I also reload so I don’t think there’s a whole lot of difference. If buying factory ammo, I’d be waiting.

I have obviously failed the "don't buy anything new in 26". With the S2H scopes on order, I do think that I will be looking for a 6 Creedmoor when they hit this side of the pond.

lol, my fast twist .243 hasn’t even arrived yet! I plan to go 243AI eventually anyway, maybe I’ll be able to snag another .243 for dirt cheap next winter with a CM release and build a Ackley from it.

I was bit disappointed at first but then again it’s not like big red H ammo is real consistent with the way powder is these days. I’ll just reload the new 243 and trim some brass every third sizing. Better than pulling the last bit of hair from my bald head when shooting at distance.

This is fantastic. I just bought a 6.5cm a week ago with the intent of swapping the barrel to a 6cm in a few months.. So for the same price as a new barrel, I can buy a new factory rifle. Hmm…
