It’s looking like a pretty good year.
Maybe factory “Barnes Harvest” 107tmk factory ammo next?

Saw one of these at the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo. This will be a very nice option for many at $999.

Looking forward to getting my hands on one and a S2H scope. I have patience as I have plenty of other options to hunt with. If this combination works as well as I expect, I could be the in the market to sell 10-15 rifles. That said, the Tikka in the 243 will not be on the sale list.

I was searching for a donor tikka for my son to build him a 6 creed as his first rifle past a .223. This makes that process so much better and easier. What do I have to do to get on a preorder list and put a deposit down? Will that be an option?

I doubt it. I have one of the newer factory threaded barrels and the flare isn’t super long. I can measure it later tho

so I have a 20” 6.5cm.

It’s like .73” at 19.5” at shoulder behind the threads and .693” at 17.5” which would be behind threads If cut to 18” and would be right at .65” if cut to 16”.

I’d want to cut it to wherever it hit .675 or .680 but no less. I’d assume that would be near 17” or 17.5”.

ETA: per the digital calipers I don’t trust (my dial caliper is out in the barn and I’m not) it looks like you’d be able to get right at 17.25” total length and still maintain that .675” shoulder. Anything below that, you just won’t have the 0.050” shoulder.

Yeah the price is enough to make a grown man cry, but it looks like we are getting a factory 6 creedmoor in Australia late 2026. The superlite and such will likely be under 2k aud (when comparing prices of different current offerings) so thats something I guess
