Just don't think of the factory barrel and stock as resale items and eat the cost of the rifle as a whole. Plenty of Tikka on sale at europtics where the stock and barrel don't really matter for the price you are paying

And you can even use the factory stock. I’ve had great luck shooting the factory stock with a vertical grip adder

It’s just not as fun as putting it into something cool and foldable lol. I have a few rifles I’ve bedded and done stock swaps and things on. But my idea for this build would be a lightweight gun with low recoil shooting heavy for caliber bullets with a folding stock or chassis. I live in CA so the suppressor is not an option so barrel length isn’t an issue. But just trying to figure out what direction I should go. But sounds like I need to either wait. Or in the meantime grab a tikka on sale.
