With our stupid gun laws in CO you might be better off looking into shipping it to someone's local FFL, between needing a FFL for the transfer (even locally) and the new 3day waiting period too (not sure if you are familiar they slipped that one in on us). You would need someone truly local to you (or willing to come there twice) to facilitate a lawful in-state transfer. There already is gonna be a FFL fee involved no mater what. Just a thought.

Pretty sure any sales across any state lines requires a FFL transfer.

CO just has extra BS to deal with. ANY sale from a CO resident is going to require a FFL involved no matter how you approach it. Being a buyer from CO is going to have to use a FFL still and now also the FFL has to hold the firearm for 3days before releasing it to the buyer after the buyer is approved it makes it appealing to just have anything shipped to a local FFL to limit time wasted going to the FFL for approval and then returning later to pick it up. This 3day requirement just started last year so not everyone is aware of it yet so I wanted to mention it to the OP that shipping might facilitate the deal better unless someone truly local to them wants it.
