I’m looking for a set of chest wafers for waterfowl. I’ve been looking at several different Tidewe models strictly because the price is aggressive. Are they any good? Nothing lasts forever, but I’d prefer something that I’m going to get at least three seasons out of. All experiences welcome.

I can't speak for the waders, but the blinds have been solid the past few seasons. Who knew someone would come along and making blinds a consumable. Good luck.

“A few seasons” is a broad statement.

In college when I was mad at ducks, I duck hunted 30+ times a year breaking ice and walking through flooded corn stubble.

Now, I hunt a few times a year from the comfort of a blind.

What are your expectations?

Three seasons before I need to fix any leaks or replace them. If that’s unrealistic, set me straight.

I had their neopreme waders and they started leaking the second season. I hunt ducks 10 - 20 times a year.

I now have High n Dry and just finished my second season with and have been nothing but happy with them.

That's unrealistic for waders under $500. Point blank. Every pair of boot-foot waders I have ever owned has leaked at the boot seam within 2 years, hunting a mix of environments (walkins, blinds, sand, mud, etc) 15-30 days per year.

Have never owned a $1000 pair of waders, but if I did it had better have a no-questions warranty (Chene, Sitka) for when it starts to leak. My understanding is that those waders still leak, you can just get them repaired when they do.
