I got my email today also. Problem is, I just left home for a 9 day trip. I weep at the thought of that box sitting in the corner of my office, unopened for a week. Oh well, something to look forward to when I return. I ordered Dec 28, I'm sure this wait will prove to be worth it for my first Kifaru pack.

Got my email today I will have my bikini and 7 k bag on Wednesday can't wait load it up and hike.

It just isn't right. My bag shipped been tracking it and they close 80 to any unnecessary travel. Hopefully they will come up 287 because I doubt that ups will see delivery of my bag as necessary even though there couldn't be anything more necessary than that

I'm about the same height as you and also ordered the 24 inch stays, do you feel they will give you adequate lift?

Sure do. I tried on the 26" at Kifaru and I couldn't put my head back. Didn't like it. I did load it up with two 45 pound dumbbells at the gym at work. Aside from the strange looks it was great. if you follow the instructions that come with it on adjusting you will be fine. The idea of loosening the shoulder straps after pulling the lifters didn't sound right but man you could feel the weight come off your shoulders.

Ding ding ding ! Time is up and my pack is here Didn't get but a minute with it before I had to head back to the salt mine First impression is WOW , super well made and light. Super stiff stays. Can't wait to try it out.

Just picked mine up from UPS store! Having lunch and heading home to play with my new toy before I head off to work this afternoon. Christmas in April!

I got home and first thing I did was stuff all my gear plus 20 cans of soup and a gallon jug of water in it and hiked two miles around the neighborhood. Felt good but I need to figure out the adjustment on my right shoulder stap. 15 lbs of cans and a gallon of water puts me close to what I would be carrying on a normal hunt.
So , while out I ran into a neighbor and he wanted some venison. What to do , what to do...I know ! I hike on to the house and take out the cans and water and put about 35 lbs of venison in the pack and delivered it. Does this make me the first customer ( customer , not designer or beta tester ) to pack venison in a bikini ?

I've already done 2 1/3 miles in the neighborhood and I'm cooking some venison burgers then heading out again . All pavement but beggars can't be choosers.
