Crumy,

Do you have the lifters extended to the full height in your photos? I also ordered a 24" frame, and am curious about the lift.

The lifters came about 1/2 inch from the top and I haven't touched them. I am guessing I could lossen the strap going down from the 3-bar sliders to increase the slope a little bit. But I had 90 pounds in it and felt no pressure on my shoulders. It is important ( I believe) to get that hip belt TIGHT.

Good deal, that is what I like to hear. Didn't realize that you had that much weight in it. Is that a T1 or a T2 that you have?

I don't have the weight in that pic.. That pic is two big quilts. When it arrived at work I had a friend put two 45 pound dumbbells in it. It is a t1. And it is HUGE but space went away quickly as I put my list for an upcoming 8 day hunt.. I believe it is just me learning to pack it better. and probably packing things I don't need in terms of clothes.

Mine just came too. I got the 4800 w/ 24in stays. First impression is wow this thing is light! Noticably lighter than my t1 felt, and even after playing with it I still think 4800 will be just fine as far as size goes for me.

Iv got to try to dig my scale out to weight this thing. It really is amazing how light the frame is.

Jut got my confirmation number in the mail. Big shout out to Kifaru and Aron for getting my pack to me the day before I wanted to head to the hills for some shed hunting. Not sure if it just worked out that way or not (my ship date was technically Monday). Anyways, fantastic customer service.

The 4800 is plenty if you put the meat between the frame and in most cases you could put it inside too. I loaded mine up before I had to give it up and it will hold five days no problem. It will be full for a five day trip but not a problem. The frame is just phenomenal. It just kills me it will not fit me.

Man, I'm getting stoked reading these posts! I'm hoping mine will get here before the horn hunting opener next Wednesday so I can put it to the test.

They have arrived! (Well I have) ;)

My trusty T1 on left, BT1 in the middle and BH7k on the right. It's looks like they are slightly different sizes but they are not.

Pretty stoked to go do some testing. Curious about the difference between the flat back and standard stays with a heavy load.

Well I've been pretty patient but I finally broke down and sent Angie an email asking when my pack will be ready. She gave me a revised ship date of next Tuesday, May 7th. All you guys who ordered all of those bikini frames pushed my duplex pack back a whole month! I hope you're happy. This will be my first piece of Kifaru gear and I'm pretty pumped! I don't mind the extra wait. When it shows up I won't have anymore excuses not to get my fat ass off the couch and do some training. :)
