I am looking for a light suppressor (10oz) for a 24" C.A. 300 RUM. Wanting to keep it under 7" as well. I thought the Scythe Ti was the answer but with the concern of the failures not sure it would work for this application, ( 200-230 gr bullet & 86 ish gr of H1000).
Also read where the Nomad Ti XC was better in both recoil & sound suppression, with a rumors of poor cust svc.
Are there any other options out there worthy of consideration, or would the Nomad be the best, application is strictly hunting /backpacking rifle.

+1 for the Hydrogen S. I also was fairly close to going with the Scythe but the failures pushed me away and I went with Hydrogen S. It's 7" and 9.3oz with no mount so you might be a hair over your numbers depending how you mount it.

TBAC Magnus S or LPM Mach S if you can’t find or don’t want to wait/pay for the tbac. Magnus S is a little over your weight goal too.

No idea how the nomad xc would hold up to a RUM but it’s very light for the volume and I like the idea of a little beefier construction.

I have a Scythe TI and shoot it with a 22" 300WM. I have had no issues yet. also have a budding shooting it on a 7PRC with a 22" barrel and no issues yet. Fingers crossed it stays that way. I really like it so far.

Where can you get the new TBAC silencers?

DD Enticer STi or LTi.
Curious I thought the DD STi wasn't rated for 300 RUM, only 300 win mag. Being it is my first suppressor i don't know if 1000 psi difference means anything, but when you are at the top of the recommendation of the rated capabilities & with reports of some of the ti cans are coming apart is seems like you would want to be on the safe side. How do the mfg come up with the ratinngs?

I've been running my LTI on a 22in 300 norma improved. They have the same ratings as the STI I believe. Prob 200 rounds no issues, I'm only running 215s at 2960 tho. Not stepping on anything. The STI is rated at 24in on a rum.
