Ti Pro Muzzle Brakes

I just PM'd Ryan, but some may be able to answer. I'm trying to knock down some of the sting on my Tikka T3 7 mag for my son. Which of these would you guys recommend on a stock tikka 7mag barrel contour and can the rear be tapered to match the barrel contour?

Im assuming the barrel contour would be better .6” and .7”... either way, 1/2-28 threads and 9/16-24 threads are available in the Ti Pro 1, and can be tapered to match the barrel diameter.

Ryan has the Ti Pro 1 on an 8 lb 30 Nosler and it tames that beast no problem.

if your fine with a steeper taper, you could jump up to the Ti Pro 2 with 9/16-24 if that’s what a smith threaded your barrel at for a little more recoil reduction.

gotta use carbide, rougher insert, then swap to a finishing insert to take like .01” off of it, it he’s turning to match.~650 rpm, .0025" IPR.
It turns a lot like harder steel.

I debated posting this but I ordered a 4 port 5/8-24 MBM Lil Ti Beast a couple weeks ago and I’m having one hell of a time getting any correspondence back from him, kids call it getting ghosted these days. I’m giving him till Friday to send me a response and then I’m cancelling my order. I wish I would have seen these beforehand. I’m sure he’s busy, but I’m not just some fella asking questions I already gave him my money. Very very slow at returning emails, not answering the question, no thanks for your order it’s gonna be on its way soon. No order confirmation. Just very vague. He replied a couple times and I asked him if I could just bring him my rifle so he could do a clean professional job on it and he stopped replying. Just SAY no I don’t have time for that but I can taper it and send it off for you thank you for your business and I’d be a very happy customer!

I think we are very good with correspondence, and I try my best to be available for questions. I try my damndest to keep everything in stock. And we don’t sell on back order. If we don’t have it, it’s not available in the store. And if it’s not available it’s a week at most for me to make it. I will say though, material is becoming an issue, as lead times for ordering titanium gets worse and worse. I’m just trying to keep more on hand.

I just received my Ti Pro 1, it looks great. Do you offer them in the garnet blasted finish? I'd like to get another for my other rifle but in the darker color.

I can garnet blast any of the brakes, but if a smith times and tapers the brake you will have two different finishes. It’s fine if your timing it with a crush washer.

I won't have to turn or taper it, the barrel is .750 so the Ti Pro 1 pretty much matches the contour.

How can I go about placing an order for one blasted? The option isn't on the checkout screen.

It'd be a garnet blasted Ti Pro 1, 5/8x24, .284

I just installed my brake with a crush washer, excited to go shoot with it! Seems like a high quality item. I would have got it in a duller or darker finish had i known it was an option

We don’t currently have that option up on the store, and it’s a small upcharge so you would have to work that out with Ryan.

Looks awesome did you leave the brake of the same or turn it down some? Mines been at a smith for a couple weeks now I think he forgot about me
