For anyone that has backpacked with a 3 piece recurve and arrows on a 10 day hunt what did you do? I feel like I’m under thinking it by just breaking the 3 piece down and strapping it to my side pocket on the absaroka with the arrows. Going to be sheep hunting so it doesn’t need to be ready to go often. A bit different then archery elk where I’d be walking with it all the time in hand.

I slip the riser and quiver in a long side pocket of my EXO and arrows in the other.

I think its easier to wrap both limbs together in the string and stringer with both loops on to keep the BH the same

This was a goat hunt with 10 days of food and it's how I generally do it for a hunt that I'm also bringing a spotting scope and tripod. Limbs get slid into one of my stalking socks with string still attached and put in one side pocket. Spotting scope with tripod attached and my other stalking sock over it goes in other side. Riser with quiver strapped on gets strapped to the back. If I'm not bringing the scope, the riser just goes on the other side. With thumb screws for the limb bolts I can have the bow put together and ready to go in just a minute or so. I also mark my correct brace height on one of my arrows with a silver sharpie for a quick check point.
