Whatever makes you happy. That’s a serious magnification range! You’d be able to see .243 bulletholes at 300 is my guess.I might put a 6-20x50 i don't know yet.

For the 22 Creedmoor, the 55gr Hornady V-Max and 62gr Sierra GameKing work well for coyotes and smaller deer. For larger animals like deer or bear, go for tougher bullets like the 77gr Hornady ELD-X or 75gr Barnes TSX for better penetration and expansion. Avoid lighter varmint bullets like the 55gr Nosler Ballistic Tip for bigger game, as they may not perform well on larger animalsWhat bullets have you had success or lack of success with in your 22 creedmoor?
I'm hoping my rifle is shooting the 80 grain eldm or the 80 grain eldx the best just so I can have a bullet that performs good for everything I plan on pulling the trigger on.For the 22 Creedmoor, the 55gr Hornady V-Max and 62gr Sierra GameKing work well for coyotes and smaller deer. What's everybody's thoughts on the 22 creedmoor for a 300 yard and in coyote deer and bear rifle. I'm wanting to build a light weight low recoiling rifle that's not heavy to pack around. Will mostly be used for coyote and deer but also the occasional bear if they are in season. I will have a no farther shot than 300 yards. I'm going to get a Ruger American gen 2 with the 22 inch barrel just the base model gun pretty much, I'm wanting to put a 4-12x44 or a 3-15x50 Leupold or vortex I'll probably get a Magpul hunter stock and leave everything else the same other than the stock. What's everybody's thoughts on that or should I get a different caliber like .243 win or 6mm creedmoor. Keep in mind low recoil and lightweight. TIA
What size scope do I need? I should have specified I'm down to go shoot 500 or 600 yards at the range. So that's why I'm gonna get a 4-12x44 or a 4-16x50.For your range a 22CM is not needed even for bear. A 223 with the right bullet will do what you want. You could also go with a 22ARC and split the difference. You also don’t need that much magnification in your scope
