The over the barrel suppressors aren't new. AB suppressors has a few out on the market already

It's interesting, especially given that they're one of the few aftermarket barrel makers for Blaser R8s.

While AB does reflexes on the Raptor series, they do not seal on the barrel. They contain all the gases inside the silencer. Reduces volume some as you have another metal tube on the inside.

The reflex works, but is not as efficient weight wise as adding baffles.

So I have one of these and an Ab raptor. Big fan of reflex.

This one is 3d printed, titanium, and about the same weight and length of the “new” one being discussed here

The chamber is sealed. No blast goes over the barrel except what’s in the closed reflex area.

Right. But it improves performance without adding length. Which is what most want for hunting.
