Thoughts on the Vortex Ridgeview Tripod

Just as the title reads... anyone have 1st hand experience and what did you think? It would mostly be used for glassing w/ binos and spotter.

Have not been able to get my hands on one to have a look.

I personally wouldn't spend that much on a tripod with skinny legs. It would be fine for binos or a light spotter but so would a tripod of half the price.

Much of the industry has followed the 'ultralight' pursuit by sacrificing leg tube diameter, which just might be the most important factor for stability, and doesn't actually save very much weight.

How bad of an idea would it be to take the occasional shot off of it using the rail?
