Thoughts on the nxs 2.5-10?

what is your issue ? I’m here asking questions and seeking advice .... do you have a problem with that?

He doesnt have an issue other then you have started like 6 threads asking about scopes. Man you just need to buy one and see if it works for you. Like has been said 14 times. I want a scope that is going to steer my bullet where I want it to go. optical quality should be a couple points down on your list. There is no perfet scope. When you figure that out you will be much happier.

1) adjustment, zero retention, repeatabliity.
2) Weight, size and features
3) optical clarity

I’m trying to take information from peiple to make a better decision .... I did not post six threads asking the sake question ..... once again researching and gathering information before buying a 1-$2000 scope is not a bad thing ..... sorry if my posts annoyed you....

The 2.5-10x42 is a excellent scope. I’ve used one since they were released. I will always own it at least one if not two. In fact it was my scope of choice on a Recent Alaska moose hunt. And as the picture states 10x is more than capable at 1000 yards. The pic was three weeks before my Alaska moose hunt. Two shots at 1000 yards with a witness. Rifle is a Proof Research Glacier 300 Win.FB6F4318-AC1B-4445-9CD1-9F87BFAD2CE4.jpegF281266F-DCC4-457A-9019-06410AEB3E85.jpeg

No, you've posted over a dozen threads asking about scopes. All we have to do is click on your screen name, click posts, and it shows us what threads you've started. Only thing I said was you are over-analyzing this. I hate to think how long it took to pick your rifle... especially the caliber. Like has been said, glass clarity doesn't mean much. I had a super clear Swaro Z5 that wouldn't track for shit. "Great glass" though. NF are known for tracking. SWFA are known for tracking. S&B, Kahles, Zeiss, Hensoldt, Mavens, Tangent Thetas, US Optics.... all known for tracking and working well. Glass is good, better in some than others, but they do what a scope is supposed to do. Click the right amount, hold zero, not fog, return to zero over and over. And take abuse. Of all the scopes you've asked about the NF is going to be your best bet. Way more consistent than Leupold.
