Hi all I’m looking for a new affordable rifle that I can practice long range with and is cheaper/saves the life on my 300wm. Right now there’s a fairly decent sale on the savage 110 tactical desert with accufit stock in either 6mm or 6.5 creedmoor. Does anyone have experience with these or the accufit stocks in general? Seems like they offer a lot of features for quite a bit less than say a Bergara hmr?

My savage 10 fcp-sr in 6.5 creedmoor is a half moa rifle or very close to it with hand loads. It has the Accustock and accutrigger. I paid $459 for it New. Most savages just plain shoot.

Well it’s more the whole package. There’s a $150 rebate right now if you buy with a vortex viper or razor plus my store has their scopes on sale 100-200 off and I’ve got gift cards too. I went ahead and ordered the rifle but have to decide on glass now.

$400 Viper HS 4-14x44 bdc
$400 Viper hs 6-24x 50 bdc
$400 Viper HS LR 4-16x44 dead hold
$700 Viper PST gen 1 6-24x50 ffp Ebr1
$800 Viper PST gen 2 5-25x50 ebr4

Well, After 2 years of owning your savage how does it shoot? Im looking at one right now for just this reason. I also
have a 12 year old daughter that Id like to use this rifle as a bit of a step up from her .243.
