I just received some Easton Axis with the 3” Silent Knights, looking forward to shooting them.

After shooting AAE Max sthealth I'm going back to Flex-Fletch Silent Knight 3", 3 fletch. hard to argue with how quiet they are and they are thinner then most so less wind drag.

I was shooting with with a nasty crosswind quite a few times this winter while messing around with different fletching combos. The ffp300s were visibly less impacted by the wind than the ffp360s or max stealth I was shooting. I’m guessing due to the lower height. At any rate I’m going to give them a whirl in a 4 fletch configuration and see how they steer broadheads.

I really like the sk200’s. They fly awesome. I’ve had some amazing arrow groups. But they are loud in my opinion
Thanks. Having second thoughts about my purchase as that will probably make them a no go with spit n stalk axis deer. Talking with the lady at flexfletch the 3inch are made of a seperate material than the 2inch which makes the 3 inch quieter. Still might just try them on a couple arrows for test

I finally fletched some up and shot them back to back at 60 so I could hear them fly through the air vs blazers , 2.1 q2i x-iis and 2.3 Q2i griff x all 3 fletch. the Sk200s were definitely the loudest. Griff x definitely the quietest. x-iis and blazers a toss up in the middle. might try some rapt x as supposedly they are similar profile to blazers but quieter but probably going with the 2.3 griff x this year. I shoot low pro mechanicals so i dont need as much steering Id prob go with their 3 in griff x if I shot fixed.

Good information. Have you tried the Bohning Heat or the Tac Driver 2.25.“? They both seemed very quiet compared to the Blazers or SK200.

no for neither. Tacs along with AAE seem to have a lot of complaints with adhesion so I figure why bother. I woud like to try the heat vs bully vs blazers vs rapt x. they all seem to have similar profiles. If anyone wants to trade 6, 8 or 9 vanes to try from any of those except blazers I have FF SK 200s, Q2i 2.1 X-ii's, 2.1 Fusions, and 2.3 Griff X i could send back the other way if you wanted to try any of these.
