This may help someone, pitching with trekking piles

I had been considering getting a trekking pole hitch so I could use them instead of taking a center pole with my SO Silvertip. I had the idea this week that I could remove a section of pole from one and slide the tip, just the tip, of the other into that spot, if that makes sense. Tried it out today and it worked great. Saved me a few bux and some weight. Hoping this might help someone out.

You’re a genius. I bought two hitches, left them at home and had to rig up a para cord hitch. Life is hard when you’re dumb.

I bought the hitch setup. It's a bit clumsy but works when you get it all set up.

I just use 2 of those Velcro cord tie things. Super easy and cheap.
