Thinking about adding Swaro 15x56

So I have a pair of Leica Ultravid HD 10x42, and a BTX. But I can’t stop thinking that I’d like to have a set of the 15’s. I spend a lot of time glassing and was thinking that with the 15’s I could switch off with my hunting buddy periodically while we are glassing a lot of the vast country we hunt. Is this just me wasting my money or would it be a worthwhile addition to my current glass situation do you think?

Never hurts to have options in your optics arsenal. I added a pair of 15x for this season. They closed the gap between my 8x ELs and atx 65 nicely.

Would add 12 els, skip 15s.
You ll will probably ditch your 10s.

85mm btx and 12 els is all I run unless wife or kids go 15 HD don't leave the safe or 8x32 els even archery season its 12s
Kowa 601 if dont want btx

My SwarO 15s are probably the best thing Iv ever bought related to hunting... the only problem is ur ALWAYS going to want to bring them,,, along with 10s and a spotter.,..and they aren’t exactly light..

I love my Swaro 15’s. I just don’t do well with a spotter but the 15’s are perfect for what I need. I can spend a long time behind them and not get any eye strain.

I also run Swaro 10X42’s but the 15’s are one of my favorite pieces of kit.

Okay so it sounds like I’m not the only one who loves my optics haha. There is no way I’m going to be able to pack all 3 at once but maybe switch off depending on what I’m using them for I guess.
Thanks for the replies guys!

I've had old 15 s since came out 20 years ago, upgraded to 15hds pretty big upgrade. 15 were a game changer for sure.
At same distance of any 15s not being swaro hd you will not give up anything with 12els. 15hds can tell the 3x difference but not giving up much, best way I can explain it.

12s all day long, sold my 10x42els also

Yeah another optics nut here. You’d be surprised what you end up packing in the toolbox once you have it hahaha.

I love my 15’s on a tripod for glassing big country. I’ve got the 10x42 EL’s and the big 95 is making it into the pack more and more.

I couldn’t hold 12’s steady enough to free hand and don’t think I’d get enough use from the btx unless they made a variable zoom model.

I find 15-18x the sweet spot when I’m hunting white tail, mule deer and antelope. I can sit behind those all day and pick apart hill sides much more efficiently than with the 10x after the 2 mile mark
