Things you have noticed in the gym

I lifted in a commercial gym for 10 years before I decided to do it at home. I miss seeing the friends you make there but working at home is far better to me.

The only messed up thing I distinctly remember is the bathroom being absolutely destroyed one day. Both stalls were painted brown. Looked like a bucket full of poop was thrown on the walls. The sink was broken and there was blood on the floor. It was horrible.

My local gym is legit with great equipment and serious people. Everything is always clean. But every planet fitness is go to the bathroom is nasty. I travel quite a bit and have seen several. Occasionally they will be clean.

I haven't had that, but i have had guys kind of stare at me in the locker room and then kind of linger wherever I was working out. My wife noticed and thought the dudes were gay and just checking me out. I didn't notice most of the time. My wife was the one letting me know.

"Pump cover" is becoming more and more popular lately. I never saw the point of wearing a sweat suit for 11 minutes, just to take it off and then have to carry it around in a bag the rest of your workout.

I generally agree, except for Fairbanks. Obviously there isn’t a lot of choices but I spend a few months out of 3 years in that gym and it is actually legit.

This definitely seems to be the case with women. Come in wearing a sweat suit and then get down to yoga pant shorts and a sports bra after they've done a couple sets. I'm not complaining though.
