Thin grid fleece

Does anyone make a really thin grid fleece long sleeve? Like t shirt thin. I have an old Patagonia one and haven't been able to find anything like it.

Eddie Bauer I believe also does.

T-shirt thin (ie base layer thin)- the Sitka Core won't disappoint. I've used a myriad of other base layers and this one is the one I'm still wearing.

Available in a hoody too which I highly recommend!

Have you seen the Patagoinia R1 air? It is a lighter weight fabric than the regular R1 and massively more breathable. The "base" fabric is a see through almost net like material with a zig zag of "fleece" across it. It might be a little more than your looking for, but I can't really imagine a "fleece" thats much lighter.

The other layer Ive been playing with recently is the Capliene air hoody. It is more of a open weaver sweater material, but it is a slightly lighter in weight/thickness than the above mentioned R1 air. I think this would probably be more inline with the weight your looking for.

I do have a Sitka Core lightweight hoody and it is my favorite piece of hunting clothing. The only thing I don't like is hood always catches on my sitka ball cap hook and loop - drives me crazy! If that's how all Core pieces are I will like them. I had some way back when that were more of a silk material and I thought they were clammy but they've obviously changed their material

Edit - I have their fleece too but it's heavier than what I'm talking about

Maybe that's what I have? What I have is literally exactly like the eddie bauer one referenced earlier. I will be picking up one of these if they go on 50% off. I did just order this to try out - the price is right - https://www.decathlon.com/collections/mens-fleeces/products/quechua-mh500-hiking-fleece-mens-307880?

Outdoor Research Echo line. I wouldn’t call it fleece, but there’s nothing like it on the market in terms of its weight and performance. It’s warm-weather only.

The thinnest fleece I’ve seen is the Peloton 97, but that’s not grid fleece.

The Helio Hoody is thinner grid fleece than most and it’s the most versatile grid fleece that I have.

My reading comprehension is not want it used to be :). Missed the fleece part altogether!

There is no t-shirt thin fleece out there, but gridded base layers- Core Lightweight like you have, the OR Echo mentioned above and the now discontinued Patagonia Lightweight Capilene- none are what I would consider fleece.

The lightest fleece garments I'm familiar with are the above mentioned Kuiu Peloton 97. Make a nice cold weather base layer or warmer weather mid-level. Montbell makes a pretty lightweight fleece, called the Chameece, but it's a little heavier than the Peloton 97. Neither are grid.

The lightest grid fleece I've seen is Patagonia's Thermal Weight stuff. It's nice stuff. I use it as a base layer in cold weather. I've used it as a mid-layer and while it breathes pretty well, doesn't have a lot of warmth for the weight- better cold weather base layer imo.

Good point I guess what I am describing isn't even a fleece, I just associate grid with fleece in my head. My original question should have been for a microgrid base layer
