I think we all understand that it is possible me to take game with a small caliber. I don’t think anyone is arguing that. I think the argument is that larger calibers are often time “better” for larger game.
Side note, the whole “DRT” argument is pointless. That isn’t an issue or caliber, yet of placement and biology.

Meh. Writer sounds soft. Call me when he starts shooting 75 pound Louisiana skillet heads with a .338 win mag. Obviously can't handle the wallop on the back end of a real cartridge.

What do you use for bears?

I sold my 375H&H, but I do currently have a Winchester Classic stainless in 338 Win. I also carry a 10MM in the lower 48 with Underwood 200 hard cast. In Alaska I have a 629 44Mag with Underwood 305 hard cast. Do you think I'm under or over gunned.
