Thermal pants fit

Weird question. But how should thermal pants fit? Skin tight or can be alittle baggy?

I recently lost 45 pounds and not sure I want to spend the money on the smaller size just yet.
Will I loose heat or will they not work as good slightly baggy?

I like my next to skin layer to be tight, if I start baggy once I add a mid it just feels uncomfortable to me. Reward yourself for the weight loss by treating yourself to new base layers then sell the bigger ones and then you won't have a choice but to keep the weight off because you won't want to spend the money again the third time.
