I’d go try on a few at a surplus store, which is what I did. But for you probably XL. I think they also have a large long option though

After reading all the positive comments about the USGI Polartec 300 jacket I ordered one off of eBay so I could wear it around the farm. Someone had a used one listed for $50 OBO. I offered $40 and he took it.

Received it today and I’m pretty impressed. No rips, tears, all zippers working good and looked clean. Ran it through the casual setting on the washer using Atsko laundry detergent and dried it on the low setting just to be sure it was clean.

I’m 5’11”, 200# and the large size fit fine. Plenty of room in the body and the sleeves were long enough.

It’s snowing today and 30° so I figured I’d give it try today while feeding the cows. I just wore a long sleeve tee shirt, thermal Henley shirt and the Polartec jacket. I can say the jacket passed with flying colors. Kept me warm the whole time while feeding from an open station tractor. The wind wasn’t blowing so I can’t comment on that.

Mine just arrive today. It is definitely thicker than the gen iii
