I was thinking of doing that and then if I got it coming here and trading it for something that I want, but, wasn’t in the mood to burn a G or more today.

I don't intend to flip it. I bought it for my own use. If it works out as well as I hope, I might sell my TSN-884 body, though.

Excuse my ignorance, but is there any clones to look out for on eBay in regards to Kowa spotters? Kinda suspicious when a seller is from Japan(I know the glass is made there)

I'm not aware of any Kowa clones, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. All Kowa's top tier optics are made in Japan. Except for rare occasions, I shy away from deals where the seller is offshore...but I sure have been tempted a few times.

Not to be Debbie Downer, But there was a ton of fake Leupolds on there a couple of years ago. A good friend bought one, I almost did . He showed to us, The gold ring is different etc. He called Leupold and they told him it was not one of their serial numbers. Their CS told him when in doubt call them with the serial number and they can verify it. That said he is still using that scope and has not had any issues .

I thought about doing the same. If it would have had an eyepiece I would have. I just didn’t want to have to spend another $750 on the eyepiece. Hope it workd out well for you and you can find a good deal on an eyepiece somewhere.

Oh hell no!
Look at the seller's name and shipping from Japan. Probably grey warranty, so good luck getting service in USA. Who's going to have your back.
Yeah, I'd be running from that one, and any others that shipped from offshore.
