Finished my paper/computer work for 1st gun season Colorado Elk hunt.

This will likely be my last one as I'm getting on in years (75 in August).

If the Lord blesses me I'll be back but @ this age you never know.

Waiting is the pits!!!!!!

I turned 80 in January and I still hunt national forest with family members and hunt guided private for myself. I had a massive heart attack in 2023 and I've had both knees replaced. I exercise on a regular basis, eat a healthy diet and don't plan on slowing down anytime soon. I called in a bull for my daughter in 2024 and last year I called in a bull for one of my grandsons. Once an animal is down, I pretty much watch others do the work. I am so blessed with good health and a family that supports and pushes me to keep on.

yep i"m active and exercise regularly, chasing whitetail and turkey in the E Tn mountains keeps me going, but I look around and see a lot younger folks gone.makes ya wonder !!!!Pretty often my 40yo brain writes checks my 74 yo body has trouble fulfilling....The results are usually several day of "why did I do that" LOL
