Some of the biggest fools as it relates to politics served in some form of military, it's no assurance of intelligence. Many of the politicians out there right now doing the most 'woke' damage were soldiers in one capacity or another.

- most of those “fools” you are referencing have experience in the world well beyond what most other Americans can fathom.

- There is only one capacity in which a person can be called a soldier (in the parlance of this topic). That is to have served in the US Army.

If your going to bash veterans you should at least have the courtesy to get the lingo right.

Air Force = Airman
Navy = Sailor
Army = Soldier
Marines = Marine

Space Force… ?

Don't conflate my comments with true heroes who have laid it on the line.

And the 'fools' I referenced are that much more accountable than others. They've seen the results of anti-capitalist gov'ts first hand and yet embrace that model for our country. Our own Sec of Defense is a woke insect and a great example.

I might sign up? Have 3 Facebook accounts lol. I have not visited one of those fb accounts for over a year. I think alternative sm would be great. Elon musk largest shareholder and on the board of Twitter, truth as an alternative to fb, sounds like we might get some free speech. I like hunting forums but really dislike most social media I would just like to see a little competition. I will probably join and never look at the truth account either.

Even if you had 'the one they hang around your neck,' you would not be qualified to say a Silver Star recipient has not "laid it on the line." Your need to downplay Austin's service, rather than simply address the ideas you disagree with is strong evidence of the lack of substance in your arguments. Your need to categorize those you disagree with as insects is an example of anti-capitalist and anti-freedom thinking that is commonly found in totalitarian states. It is also human though, and contrary to humanism I see part of life as a constant struggle against our base instincts to be better. It is not a struggle we always win, but it is a struggle we are obligated to engage in if we want to be decent.

By the way, a Silver Star is awarded to those “who distinguish themselves through conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life above and beyond the call of duty.”

An equity hire? Guess that Ranger tab, combat action badge, silver star etc etc were probably just given to him… for equity. You don’t have to agree with the man but you have to acknowledge that he has given more to his country than anyone on this thread could imagine. At a minimum, more than anyone who has never served. His service and the commands he has held made him qualified for the job. Sorry if you don’t like it but the fact remains.
