The Teratorn: A Shoot2Hunt X EXO Bag Collab

This is the way.
I leave the bag fairly empty and use a sand bag to add weight but this would be a good way to make sure you’re happy with what and how you’re packing in a new bag.

When I practice, I load the bag up the way I will carry it for real. Having the weight distributed the right way is almost as important as having the weight.

I am a big fan of EXO's stash pockets for organization, but I don't see any details about whether the pack has any stash pocket connection points. Are there any, and if so, where are they located?

One in each side pocket, one in the lid, and one in the water bladder sleeve is what I see.

I too fall in the category of no shock cord in the lid, just on the lid…trying to figure out how much I would even use it though, and if I need to make any deal of it.

Most won't go back after having a pack with shock cord.

My pack should be here Monday.

When not hand carrying rifle is the “go-to” to have it stored under one of the bat wings or are you guys using one of the several different “quick sling” type deals?
I don’t always use a rifle attachment, as I’m often using a HNT 26. It slips inside the side stretch pocket of the K4 bags. This will work really well with the Teratorn.
Once I have a US suppressor on an 18” barreled Rokstok, I’ll probably still just use the side stretch pocket, as I don’t like the butt hanging below the pack.

Thanks. I usually have my wife sew in a stretch pocket for the butt stock so it doesn’t sit as the pack low point and makes it quick access.

I generally carry my rifle in hand but some hikes/pack outs require both hands free, and I still want somewhat quick access to the gun if I need to drop my pack, or have a buddy pull it off.

When I need to be able to quickly access the rifle, I use a SG rifle slug bottom, and the chest strap goes around the barrel.
