I have the Zeiss RF (2018) , the 10x50 EL and the 15x56 SLC. The Zeiss for obvious reasons are the most versatile, lightest and just all around best bang. Glass still using the FL and same design, prisms as HT models. Poor light transmission in right barrel due to Rangefinder. Still excellent but wish there was a tripod stud. Very little CA and still noticeable curvature and pin cushion in outer 80%. The 10x50 EL was a much better option over the 12x50 and are still without question the ultimate Bino on the market. They’ve all tried and come close (Zeiss SF/Leica Noctivid) but haven’t achieved the EL status. The 10’s offer a larger field of view, considerably more eye relief (don’t believe Swaros website) and typical Swaro EL edge to edge, razor sharp color fringe and or chromatic abbreviation free view. The 12x on the other isn’t quite the same. One would think it would simply be identical to the 10x but there not the same. A little CA is present and the slightest curvature does appear. Still excellent choice...just not for me. I prefer less eye strain and the option to hand hold them as well....so 10x was the ticket. The 15x SLC is a completely different animal. Pretty much only and best use for hunters would be stationary tripod use. Daytime use exceptional and twilight the SLC really shines. Strange but the 15x SLC has almost a perfect flat field without the use of field flattening lens coatings. It is almost on par with the EL but even the 15x SLC with the smallest exit pupil is brighter during twilight than the EL’s with the larger exit pupil. All exceptional glass and can never go wrong. Just my .2 for the night.
