VTI and VOO are 88% the same by weight, and QQQ and VOO are 50% the same by weight. Perhaps you already knew that.
Not trying to be annoying, but Im not seeing the benefit in equally buying into all 3, given how similar they are. If you like the US/tech, you’re getting much of the same exposure from buying 1 as you are all 3 funds.
S&P 500, International (which has kicked US/Tech in the butt for over a year now), small/mid/value, and bonds at the allocation % of your desire would be a lot less concentrated/duplicated.
Edit to add: I did/do this myself with FXAIX (S&P 500), FSKAX (Total US Market), and FTEC/QQQ (Tech/Nasdaq) but quit doing it once I realized I was basically just buying the US’s top 10 companies across 3 funds. I still buy a small portion of FTEC with my FXAIX, cause who isn’t bullish on tech.
