The Rokslide Stock Traders Thread

Bought 400 shares as well, along with some more META, NVDA and CRWV
Good time to buy archer I think. I loaded up in the last week. I made over 100% earlier this year on the run up. Made over 200% on Joby also. Haven't found a tspot to get back in on it though.

FBTC, NRGU, CLSK have all treated me semi well this year. Over 66% return.

NRGU falls again I’ll re-enter. CLSK showed a up Q3 and new leadership.

RIOT is becoming interesting.

Yea...take your .02 and put it in something. In all honesty, I knew I was hunting Caribou in AK this September. I took aprox 1k and put it in PLTR and MP Materials for 6 months. I liquidated it a month before my hunt and had aprox 3k in profit! So ya might be all about the boom of a rifle but there are guys on here laughing and laying down 30k on a Stone sheep hunt like it's a freakin Big Mac. Respect to all you skilled and disciplined investors and thank you for your contributions to the hunting community.

One man's 'lame' is another's half-million in gain$...many of us have made a ton of money in part to this thread!

Guys are quick to share their gains but losses are often times swept under the rug.

At age 30, I have a large amount money in the market between 401k, Roth and personal investment accounts. When I dabbled in timing the market or trying to make a quick buck, it rarely worked out. The more I looked into it, I learned most people only showed gains, and hide their losses. For a while now I’ve been putting 24% of my income into the market and just letting it be.

Several dudes getting their panties in a wad based off my comment, that may be telling of something…

So yeah, this is lame

I’m not tooting my own horn by any means because I’ve certainly been lucky, but I’ve had 20-25% ROI for the past two years at 25 years old thanks in part to this thread. I do my own research on each stock I invest in, and if you actually thoroughly investigate what you’re buying it’s quite possible to make great returns on high-value and innovative companies/ETFs. Especially in this market. But you do you. I’ve lost my fair share of money for sure, but each time was a learning experience.

Congrats on your plan, reads like it's working for you and that is what counts for you.
Some of us here started in this thread around covid, and we shared everything we did, gains and losses. I don't expect a guy to read this entire monstrosity, but it's here forever! lol. You can see for yourself. Those that have been here since those early years know. IYKYK.
I (humbly) came away with +400k with wins and losses, the majority from a small oil concern called CDEV (now PR). It was the perfect influx of gains at the perfect time in life. I know of others who did far better as well!
It was the ride of a lifetime.

Why come into a thread, just to shit on it?

Plenty of people are successful out there, not doubting you are either. But for every dude that does well, there are 10+ that lose their butt and chase the market like it’s a drug. Insisting that their next break is right around the corner. Just gets old to hear a bunch of dudes jump and say no this isn’t lame because I do it and I make money (every now and then)

I’m not hating because I can’t make money in the market, these % are over about 1.5 years so not a true ROI but proves the point nonetheless

I made one half hearted comment about thinking it was a rifle stock trading thread and several dudes got their panties in a wad

I’ll let the thread be, jokes fall short in this part of rokslide I guess. The stress from the losses are showing through
