Some interesting points from today. The tech sector is floating the entire market right now. To be expected, but interesting to see it so drastically today nonetheless.

You really believe the billionaires that made their money union busting and short changing employees are going to magically want reforms to lower their profits and provide a higher standard of living for those same employees?

His statement also presumes that deporting 50 million illegals is actually about immigrations vs. general intimidation. This is outlined in Project 2025 as a way to spur protest, to expose the opposition, and then ultimately use the military for the purposes of suppression.

It also assumes that ending H1Bs about benefitting American works vs. consolidating the power and influence of the established tech companies who will still be able to easily afford such visas vs new tech startups who will not. The 2nd issue being a direct play out of the Pere Theil handbook for a Post Democratic America.

Just for fun, I only picked up 20 shares or so. Not going to break me if it drops. Typically I don't do that. I do have a few stocks that aren't necessarily performing well that it might be time to drop though.

Are you the same guy who said enjoy the 1Trillion market cap at the end of 2023.....? All I am saying is time in the market will almost always Trump timing the market. The current valuations are out of this world, compared to what most ever thought they would be by now.

Yep, Bernie made a career of it. Taper, Realize that everything Bernie and Mamdani says is; Take money from those that worked hard for it and give it to those that don't want to work.

Everyone here has the chance to make some serious $$$ and make something of themselves. The only thing holding you back is you. I came from nothing...now through hard work and working smart I am one of the 1% that guys like Bernie use as a scapegoat. And trust me, I'm not that smart....so anyone can do it.

Its human psychology to play on other folks jealousies and the tactic we see all the time by politician is to Blame the Rich. Understand the ones doing that are using it to get ahead. It's hypocritical to claim Oligarch's, when you have never worked a day in your life, fly around on private jets, Take millions from Pharma and special interests, stay in the Four Seasons- that guy is the definition of an Oligarch.

Those folks are lying to you- don't let them hold you back. This thread will help the avg guy to be rich.

honestly I dont like using the word "timeout" with grown men, it makes me feel like I am talking to a kid, and being disrespectful. honestly if I was a member of a forum and a mod told me they were gonna put me in "timeout" I would be pissed lol that's why i just say banned, whether its temporary or permanent

META tanking today almost 10% on the thought they are spending too much on AI.

If I didn't already own a ton of it, I would be buying.

I look at it this way; They have a HUGE built in customer base that is growing and they rake in money with a 40% profit margin that almost unaffected by peripheral stuff like tariffs. It's no wonder they can throw money at AI- they literally print money. It's a company I want to own long term.
