Seems to be hit and miss on which ones you can. I have bought many under $1 on Fidelity but some it wont let you.

Are you trying to buy a market order or limit order? TDA will only allow limit orders on OTC, mby the same for Fidelity?

Congrats on holding until now.

I'll be hanging on. Oil is only going to get ridiculous in price; private land drillers and share holders will make bank...I'm hopeful of $3.20 by end of March.
$6.50 a year from now.

Fidelity only allows limit orders (no partial shares) on stock under $1.00. At least that has been my experience. I tried buying TSNP at market price for a set amount last week but it wouldn’t let me. Said no partial share orders and only “limit orders” were allowed.

So I was just about to open a Fidelity account. Should I be looking at a different company?

Fidelity is great. That’s been the only issue I have had. I wanted to buy $1k worth of TSNP which would have yielded a partial share. Instead I simply had to convert my order to a “limit buy order” for a ”set number of shares” instead of a “market price order” Based on an amount I wanted to spend. The price of the stock dropped low enough to hit my ”buy limit order” and it was bought problem free. Never have been restricted from buying or unable to access my account.
