I just liquidated my retirement. Elon said I won't need it. Next 10 to 20 years should be fun . I am really looking forward to my paychecks having no retirement taken out of them. I hope he's right, or I'm gonna be screwed.

This changes everything. My hunting gear budget just easily increased by $15,000-$20,000 annually.
Of course, it will take a couple of days to get the funds from my cashed out 401k, but I figure a couple of Gunwerks rifles are in order to celebrate the windfall.

Last 2 posts hit close to home. Both are the only red in my portfolio. But I also think I am playing with house money. Huge market gains have put me further along the $$$ train than expected.

This thread makes me want to pull all my money from my retirement and invest it myself. Pretty sure the expectation would be to triple my money in short order!

Thats always the question right?

Did you buy it for a trade in your IRA where there is no immediate tax consequences? Short term trade $$$ are added right to your regular income with many implications there. Why did you buy...whats your thesis?

I hold a lot of GOOG. It will fluctuate no doubt but I think it will be one of the prime beneficiaries of the tech boom. I'm holding long term. They just did a deal with Apple- worth a look at that- but essentially it reinforces their technology is superior.

The GOOG was part of my dad's estate. It ended up being a (too) significant chunk of my portfolio so I've been trying to diversify and lessen my risk. Of course every time I sell some it continues to go up. Interesting though that after touching $340 it has dropped down to $333. Maybe a lot of people had sell orders at 340? I don't know.

GEV having a good start today. Over the last year or so, this has slowly turned into my largest single stock holding. Their diversity of energy projects is both a blessing and curse. Hoping it continues to climb but

Nope. I bought more at $145. Strategy's market cap is 55B and they hold 65B in BTC and 2.25B in cash.
