took a chance on CCIV calls last week, got lucky on the news. Sell, convert or roll up?
I just exercised a Feb 19 $15 Call (only cost me $400 originally) that i paid for the exercise by selling a Feb 19 $40 Call today for $2k (ended up with $500 extra!).... Still holding onto a March 19 $17.5 Call, trying to come up with $1,750 in the next month to pay for that one as well...

Anybody that bought HIVE on my alert made a nice turn today. Not that my advice holds any weight.
I jumped in on Fred Davis pick for CHUC and guess what!?! His first dud of the year. Just my ******* luck.

Seriously whats up with CHUC? Dead stock?

Nothing like it was yesterday but I cant complain, please remember with anything I post this is not my retirement account and I do not play with my IRA with the same disregard that I do for this account. Im currently riding 7 covered calls and 31 call contracts, all my puts closed today. The only funds I am holding that are those related to covered calls ive written and 10 in CCIV. This account is not a long term stock growth account. I am looking to put the pedal to the floor and its cost me a good bit of unrealized gains.

As you can see, im still working a full time job :D

It's a stock formerly known as 2050 motors, which was some incarnation of an EV vehicle platform.
They have since diversified into many different plays, but their bread and butter is Covid sanitation and mitigation.
They've signed multiple gov't contracts, airports, etc. in the goal of pandemic sanitation and virus control.
The new name of this stock will be FOMO. Time frame on that is unknown but it is reportedly soon. With a name like that, the announcemnet should be good for a 1-2 cent pop or more, IMHO...

Don’t think it’s too late to get in on etfm? It’s been climbing real good. Some left you think?

What was your thought process here vs just selling the call out of curiosity? Seems like you paid $4 premium for a $15C and exercised it when the stock was around $60 and sold a covered $40C for $20 premium? You currently have spent $1900 and collected $2000 and presuming the stock stays over $40 on friday and your shares are called you'll collect $4000 so $4100 banked. As long as the $15C could have been sold for ~$45 premium then you'd still have gotten ~$4100. Was the $15C under valued?

OPEC and Russian are going to start pumping again soon. How much/how quickly do you expect this to affect oil prices?
Russia is an X factor, hard to say what she'll do and how it will affect. And I'm unaware of how many other countries rely on her oil. Most are probably eastern bloc. But OPEC+ has already openly stated that they want $80 oil, and they will get it.
OPECs play is an 'enjoy it now, we'll get you later' scenario. They can wait for their pound of flesh because they know it will be more like 100lbs in the not-too-distant future.

It's appearing as if Biden's current plan is status quo with private drillers, aka, CDEV, QEP, CPE etc.
Overall that's fine by me, I don't want to play this game forever. Personally I'll hold for another year maybe if oil stocks are steadily climbing and the results are there. $8-11 CDEV or QEP etc. is gonna pay a lot more than $4-5.
Like OKhotnik said earlier, this market is a once-in-a-lifetime anomaly. We got one chance at this and there is still time for guys here. But it could be waning. OIl stocks would be the exception imho.

Yes. Today in a blood red OTC day, FOMO had a rare dip and then ended up 24%. C"mon dime!
As always your results may vary.

Sold My SENS today at 5.02 from a 1.80 avg with 5k invested so walked away with just shy of 10K profit. Was a solid uptrend with nice consolidations leading to multiple breakouts, fun to watch. Let my emotions get in the way of my UWMC trade and averaged down instead of following my stop loss plan and took a 3k loss. Make a Plan, Trade the Plan and Execute the plan, cannot stress that enough. Holding handful of swings including TRCH (2.17 avg), VISL (4.60 avg), FSR (15.91 avg), CTRM (.698 avg) and a bag on LOTZ from 11.50avg which I'm fine with. Currently 70% Cash on the sidelines as market is due for a correction in my opinion. Looking forward to WM's conference call/earnings tomorrow which I believe gives a good insight on the U.S. Economy, listen in if you have time. Good Luck Everyone.

I should have re-worded that. It wasn't a covered call, it was just a call option that i had bought when it was way out of the money, and I didn't have the cash to exercise the $15 call. My average cost on CCIV is now 18 and some change. Not sure if it was the right play, but I got a good return on it and still didn't lose any money...
