The REAPER from Unknown Suppressors

I was messaging recoil x last night and he said they recently ( in the last few days) talked with unknown suppressor's and got the specs for the end cap threads and they will be producing recoil x brakes for the reaper but it will take a little bit of time to get them manufactured

Thanks for the info yall. If guys are having good luck with the o-rings I might try the srs. Maybe down the road try the recoil-x. I also was thinking that it would be nice to see a titanium self time. Awesome time now with manufacturing technology and innovation… lots of excuses to the wife though.

Talked with my local FFL & he’s going to see about becoming an Unknown Dealer.
I’m going to be getting a Reaper for now & have some of the other options current & future on my wish list. Encouraged by what US is working on.

Picked up my reaper this week. I haven’t shot it yet but the feel of it is freaking awesome. It feels like a tougher scythe and the texture from the 3D printing is cool. I also fell for the topo lines. I think it would be cool if UM made an 8” beefier version. I know this wouldn’t be much of a hunting can but I’d definitely get use out of it

I got the O rings figured out for the Reaper. There's some that work OK at 10 cents each. Then there's the ones we will be using that are 500 degree o rings that cost 15x the other ones. They look good on the can. Unless you know what your looking for, you cant tell its there.

The brakes will still ship with shims and o-rings. It's a stupid easy self timing suppressor brake for $100 now. And they are all 7075, which is 60% stronger than 6061, even though it costs 3x as much for material.

We make nice stuff, even when we're the cheaper option.

I’m with you there I think a Reaper XL would be pretty cool. 7 1/2”- 8” is still plenty manageable on the bigger guns.

Thoughts on a Reaper vs. OG 6.5, for a can that will essentially be pulling triple duty between 3 rifles? Seems like the reaper would be a bit easier with the correct HUB adapter, rather than using 3 adapters for the OG as all of my stuff is threaded 1/2”. The additional quietude of the Reaper is appealing as well.

If you wait til my reaper comes and we have the comparison day, you can try both.

If you have any rifles with a 22” or longer barrel, get the OG 6.5. Otherwise, I would get the Reaper.

On the topic of adapters, I would just get three of them and Roksett them onto the barrels.

When will these be available to purchase with the o ring?

Is there any data on increased db and decreased recoil with the brake?

All the US Reaper brakes are now shipping with O-rings.

I will add them to the site today for extras if anyone wants to purchase extras but I can say they are tough as hell. I sat at my desk and for 2 minutes straight just tightened and loosened the brake on the can, crushing the o-ring repeatedly and it still looked new with zero tearing.

I don't have exact numbers, Cliff or Cory (@ID-Muley) would probably know better. With my experience its definitely louder at the muzzle, but the increase at the shooters ear is minimal.

Hopefully my Reaper arrives at FFL next week.
Excited to get it in my hands.
I like a brake option as well. Might pick one up.

I can’t wait to get a OTB Reaper, that’s my dream Suppressor for a 22 Creedmoor. 🤞

Is your brake for the Ab raptor similar? Was thinking of picking one up. It lives on my 375 Ruger these days.
